  • I taught children from the ages of 1 to 6. I excelled in teaching 1 year olds word-picture/item recognition. My students were able to share introductory information about themselves relatively well. I taught 1 to 4 year olds with no official prescribed curriculum and the children were able to gain knowledge- from this curriculum, such as: fruits, animals and animal sounds, family members, body parts, modes of transport, action words, weather, feelings and emotions, amongst other basic english skills.
    I taught phonics to 9 year olds and taught them how to read english story books with no prior exposure to phonetic english language.

    I taught extra classes where I taught students how to apply classroom knowledge and english, to real life situations.

    I planned and carried out demo lessons with the purpose of helping the school recruit new learners.
